Texas Scramble

Please sign up  in teams. 

Please ignore the format and handicaps on sign up, it is the usual 5% of combined course handicap, stableford.

If you have a visitor wanting to play, please ring the pro shop and we will reserve that slot for them and they can pay the green fee and entrance fee on the day.

RULES

Teams must consist of 4 players of any combination

Ladies Play from Silver tees, gentlemen play from Green tees.

Each team must take two drives from each player. The card needs to be marked to show which players drive has been taken.

All four players drive and then the team select the ball they wish to play.

On the fairway: mark and then place the ball within six inches. In the rough mark, then drop the ball.

Step Aside

The players whose ball has been chosen, then steps aside and is not permitted to play the next shot, leaving three players to play. The process of step aside continues until the green has been reached. Each time, the player whose ball is chosen, has to step aside and not play the next shot.

On the green, all players can putt. The fringe does not count as the green and so step aside is still in situ.

Record the score as medal play from which the allocated handicap will be subtracted.

Completed cards should be handed to the organisers before supper is served.

Entry Fee ( this includes supper) - £15 each

Entry fees & Supper - Will be debited from each members swipe cards the following Monday.

Supper  - Hunters Chicken Burger, Cajun Fries, Mixed Salad.

Please inform the Kitchen if you require vegetarian/vegan option or for and dietary requirements.
